Although the app would signal the correct GPS data import by tagging every single image with a green checkmark, Lightroom would not display or show the track log data in the image files' EXIF data. I alternatively tried to use the Geotag Photos Pro desktop app to import GPS data into my image files. What's bizarre is that I am certain that my phone's time and my cameras time are synchronized to better than +/-10s. I'm having serious problems getting the recorded GPS data inserted into my image files.Īlthough I recorded separate track logging sessions every day, and I synchronized my cameras system clock every morning with the clock on the app's display, Lightroom would always display an error message of "no matching files" if I try to automatically tag my image files with the track data that are contained in the track log file that are loaded into Lightroom. I thoroughly read the app's user manual and started recording track logs during my recent holiday in the Czech Republic. Based on previous discussions about geotagging in this forum, I bought the Geotag Photos Pro app for my Android phone.
